Regular aeration can improve soil structure and support healthier lawn growth. For compacted or dry soil, watering the area beforehand can help improve tine penetration.
- Heavy-Duty Steel Construction: This pull behind lawn aerator is built with a durable all-steel frame, reinforced side plates and a solid steel axle for reliable performance during lawn care tasks. The thick channel-shaped tow bar helps reduce bending while operating and the adjustable hitch fits a variety of tractor heights. Metal spacers between each star tine help reduce friction and support longer service life. The powder-coated finish helps resist rust and wear during regular outdoor use.
- Weighted Tray for Deeper Soil Penetration: The integrated steel weight tray supports up to 110 lbs of additional weight, which can help increase tine penetration in dense or compacted soil conditions. Simply place cement blocks or other heavy objects on the tray to add downward pressure. When combined with the independently rotating tines, this added weight helps improve the movement of air, water and nutrients through the soil, supporting stronger root development and healthier lawns.
- Dual Transport & Working Modes: A convenient side-control lever allows quick switching between transport mode and working mode using a single handle. Transport mode raises the tines for easier movement across driveways, sidewalks and uneven ground. Working mode lowers the tines for soil aeration. Two 8” rubber tires with bearing-supported wheels provide stable movement and help the aerator travel smoothly across lawns, gardens and farm areas.
- Easy Assembly & Universal Hitch: Includes a detailed illustrated instruction manual to help guide the assembly process. The pin-style hitch design allows quick attachment or removal from ATVs, riding lawn mowers, or lawn tractors without additional tools.
