Sashco 14004 Gallon Clear Roof Sealant
Sashco 14004 Gallon Clear Roof Sealant
- Fixes a leak while it's still raining instead of waiting for a dry day: this co-polymer rubber formula bonds to wet shingles, flashing, and gutters the instant it's applied, so the repair gets sealed today, not tomorrow
- Built for the extremes of a real roof: a service range of -30 degrees F to 200 degrees F once cured means it won't turn brittle in winter or soften in summer, and it applies down to 0 degrees F, so an RV roof or gutter leak doesn't wait for warmer weather
- Sticks to nearly any roofing surface without primer, from asphalt shingles and metal flashing to brick, mortar, concrete, glass, and vinyl, and passes ASTM low-temperature flexibility testing so repairs stay sealed through seasonal movement
- A real alternative to asphalt roof tar and roof cement: cures to a smooth, paintable finish that accepts latex paint in as little as 1 to 2 days or oil-based paint after a week, so the repair blends into the roofline, not on top of it
- One gallon of brush grade sealant covers about 12.8 square feet at an eighth inch thick; 5 year shelf life, cures in about a week, made in the USA
Clear, ultra-elastic roof repair caulk made to permanently stop and prevent roof leaks It effectively seals around a variety of rooftop fixtures and roofing materials without the messy look of asphalt Won't dry hard and crack, and it expands and contracts with temperatures changes Can be applied to wet surfaces and exposed to rain or snow immediately Won't turn brittle in the sun or cold Elastomeric with powerful adhesion Excellent UV resistance Lasts 2-3 times longer than asphalt Paintable Water & mildew resistant Won't freeze
